Building Orca Floats is not difficult. It simply requires time, patience, and attention to detail.

With every float kit we include a computer with a 3D step-by-step manual that guides you through every stage of the build. The model can be freely rotated and inspected at any time during the process.

❋ Space Requirements

Orca floats can be easily built in a single car garage but we recommend a two car garage or hangar.

❋ Cleco, Drill, Deburr, Glue and Rivet

The basic process to assemble the floats is to cleco them together, drill the holes to final size, deburr the holes, add glue, and rivet.

❋ People Requirements

Orca floats can be built by a single individual. Most builders take 400 hours to assemble both floats.
